Weather
No luck with cloud and wind...until 18:30. 

I had a 5 min shot for eta Car and SA4257. And I took it. 

I managed to take 2 seq on eta Car and 1 on SA4257. 
Will call it a success. 

Then prepared for a remote observing run scheduled on the night.

Weather
High clouds and gusty wind all day long.

No observations due to the bad weather. 

A work-free day, as promised to my admins back home.

Weather
Clear sky until around 12PM. After that, 
too many contrails to obscure the part 
of the sky I needed. 

Can't tell airline companies not to fly over
during the day, also, can we?


Day observation from 7AM through 12PM. 

Eta Car and SA4257 monitored throughout. 

Prior to my observation, Taka Nagayama and 
his gang had done some remote observing to 
capture SN. I did check to see that around
2:30AM (via web camera).

Weather
Clear sky mostly. At about 8AM some clouds popped out
and stopped the observation for washing up and doing 
laundry. Resumed the observation at 11AM and then until 
7PM. A very long day.

A long Day observation. 

Eta Car and SA4257 monitored continuously. 

Then at the end of my shift, I prepared for 
Taka Nagayama for his remote observing from 
1AM through 4AM on Sept 14th, 2025.

Weather
Start the day a little late, around 9AM. The sky cleared by that time. 
Seeing wasn't too bad, at about 1.8

Day observation from 9AM through 2PM. 

Eta Car and SA4257 were observed throughout. 
What, did you expect anything else? 

Clouds forced me to shut down. Pity it was
a good day.

Clear sky until 5PM or so. Poor seeing at 2 - 3

Day observation on the date for the predicted periastron passage.

From 5AM through 5PM, Eta Car and SA4257 were continuously monitored. 
Just them. Again and again and again and again, and again. 

It does kinda wear you out. 

After 5pm, too much clouds to do any day observation. So stopped there.

Weather
Virtually no cloud for the whole day. Terrible seeing at times, but that was 
expected in the day observation. 

Day observation from 5AM through 7PM today. 

Eta Car and SA4257 observed all day long, 
14 hour long coverage in the light curve.
This is my longest coverage in the single day. 

There were many gaps in the lightcurve, but
nothing major (a few patchy cloudlets passing by, 
breaks, etc.).
